A Distinguished Professor, a Leadership Strategist, Entrepreneurship and Business Life coach, certified Leadership facilitator, State-sponsored Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN) Support Specialist Mentor, content creator, and Founder & CEO of LUXE Leadership & Entrepreneur Society, I welcome you to my world!
I created the Society to empower Black women and women who would like to experience where knowledge meets sophistication and class. It's a movement of leadership, personal growth, and self-care elevation with a hint of glam. We also have an amazing site with digital downloads and loads of information within this web just for me - NextGen Leadership.
Every challenge, every stumble, every victory in my journey has shaped me. I’ve wrestled with the same doubts, celebrated similar milestones, and faced those tough moments just like you might be doing right now. Through it all, I’ve gathered a treasure trove of insights. My past experiences and research fuel my passion to guide you. From working as an assistant to a stock broker to impacting the 4th largest city in the United States as a senior advisor to a mayor, my path wasn’t always clear. But every twist and turn, every setback, was a lesson. And, I want to share my wisdom from those lessons with you in our holistic leadership & entrepreneur society. Living the LUXE leadership life prepares your mental fortitude for business, entrepreneurship, and personal success.
I bring to you over three decades of experience in corporate and municipal business as well as being a distinguished professor of business technology at a college in my hometown for over a decade. My credentials of expertise are drawn from a doctorate degree in Education-Higher Education and Adult Learning, a master’s degree in Educational Technology Leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in Health Teacher Education from a Carnegie-designated Tier One research university. Also, drawn from my background as a former City Official, Chief of Staff, and Senior Executive and Advisor to a former mayor of a major U.S. city, I want to impart a wealth of knowledge and resources to my members for career, personal, and entrepreneurial success.
As added value, my knowledge from the certificate program for Women Entrepreneurs at Cornell University and facilitation certification from Covey Leadership programs to help others achieve desired outcomes though promoting reflection, confidence, and communication, thus improving overall wellbeing, has helped me curate a dynamic membership just for you!
As a proud member of ForbesBLK, a global Forbes community for Black leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs, and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Alpha Pi, sharing knowledge is a priority for me.
